PHYTO-CCI attended the ESA Living Planet Symposium 2025, held in Vienna. The symposium provided a valuable opportunity to raise awareness about the project's recent launch in May 2025.
Dr Gemma Kulk and Dr Victor Martinez-Vicente, the project’s co-leads, presented PHYTO-CCI at the ESA Ocean Colour Climate Initiative Booth. Their presence helped highlight the work that will be undertaken over the course of the project and marked an important first step in engaging with the community.
As part of the project's early activities, the team are working closely with OC-CCI, to prepare and launch a user requirements survey. This survey aims to gather feedback and guidance from the ocean colour community.
The community can expect to be contacted soon, and their input will be crucial in shaping the PHYTO-CCI project.
